Suffolk weddings and celebrations are often held at rural venues where guests travel a distance, arrive early and stay late. That produces longer days with more waiting built into them than a town centre event.
Mr. Vail travels into Suffolk regularly from the Colchester area, with Ipswich, Sudbury and the border towns around Manningtree and Harwich among the most common destinations.
When guests arrive an hour before anything starts, entertainment during that window matters more than it does at a venue people walk to. Close up magic covers arrivals, photograph gaps and the wait before a meal without needing any schedule of its own.
Longer bookings of four or five hours, or all day coverage, tend to make more sense in Suffolk than a single hour, simply because the day itself is longer.
Ipswich brings hotel and waterfront venues plus business events; Sudbury and the western towns bring country and village celebrations; Manningtree and Harwich sit on the Essex border and are effectively local.
For larger barn and marquee receptions, a stage performance gives the whole room a single shared centrepiece before the evening entertainment.
Standard prices apply, from £150 for one hour of close up magic through to £750 all day, and £350 upward for stage magic. Send your venue and timings and availability will be confirmed.
