Close up magic during a drinks reception works best for networking events, while a stage slot suits seated audiences facing one direction.

London

MAGICIAN IN LONDON

London events are usually tighter, larger and more scheduled, and the performance is planned accordingly.

Mr. Vail travels into London from Essex for weddings, corporate events, private parties and stage bookings. He performs at your venue; there is no London base or premises.

London bookings are planned more carefully than local ones. Access times, loading, security, lift availability and fixed schedule slots are all normal parts of a London venue, so these are agreed in advance rather than discovered on the day.

Corporate and hospitality events

A large share of London bookings are business events: company dinners, awards evenings, conference receptions, client hospitality and Christmas parties. These normally run to a fixed agenda with a defined entertainment slot.

Close up magic during a drinks reception is the most effective option for networking events, because it manufactures conversation between people who have just met. A stage slot works better where the room is seated and facing one direction.

Weddings and private events in London

London weddings often use venues with strict timings and limited turnaround between rooms. Close up magic suits this because it requires no set-up and can be paused instantly.

For private parties in London homes and hired spaces, the format is identical to elsewhere: rotating sets of a few minutes per group, adjusted to how the room is moving.

Travel and planning

Travel into London is by arrangement, with arrival planned well ahead of the performance slot. Share the venue, access details and running order with your booking request so nothing is left to guess.
