The material is built from card magic, sleight of hand with coins and small objects, and moments of mind reading where a guest's own choice or thought becomes the centre of the routine.

Every set is shaped around the people in front of it. A table of colleagues at a corporate dinner gets a different pace and tone from a group of relatives at a wedding reception, and Mr. Vail reads the room rather than repeating a fixed script.
